Botanical Print
This workshop consists of recognizing, appreciating, and collecting parts of plants and trees such as leaves, flower petals, and seeds in the beautiful gardens of the Pacarina printmaking workshop, where several Andean dry forest birds frequent. With what we collect, we will make a composition on a cardboard matrix and experiment with natural and synthetic printing dyes to subsequently print on cotton paper and natural fiber fabrics.
