Trek to the Heart of the LLanganati

Trek to the Heart of the LLanganati

per person

To the heart of the Llanganati is a 37.5km journey through the humid Andean moor with the aim of summiting the highest point of the renowned Llanganates mountain range: the Llanganati, Cerro Hermoso or Yurac Llanganati (4571m). This incredible mountain of solid rock is the outcrop of the South American tectonic plate. Our trip to this mountain involves traveling efficiently, ultra light, with dehydrated food, maps prepared specifically for this area and advice to arrive prepared for the trip. The flora, fauna and the very interesting history that surrounds this incredible place will be explained in order to understand the nature of this mythical area. The trip continues to cross an incredible cloud forest of giant Alders and follow the course of the Muyo River, until civilization.
