Botanical Print

This workshop consists in recognizing, appreciating and collecting parts of plants and trees such as leaves, flower petals and seeds in the beautiful gardens of Taller de Grabado Pacarina which is frequently visited by several birds of the inter-Andean dry forest. We will use the collected items to compose on a cardboard stencil and to experiment with natural and synthetic printing dyes which will be later stamped on cotton paper and natural fiber cloth. This 12-hour activity is divided into 2 days. Come and learn about plants and trees in a green surrounding in the midst of an urban place where we will combine nature with art.
