Kayak River School

Life is wonderful when you have the opportunity to enjoy it to the fullest and learn new skills that open doors to new worlds and new experiences. That is why this practical and pedagogical experience from 4regiones combines learning through total immersion in riverine culture and the key components that favor river expeditions and trips, from setting up and breaking down camps, interpretation of topographic charts, planning and packing, etc. In addition to having safety and rescue lessons, we reinforce awareness skills such as learning to understand white water, how to tie knots and hoists and also outdoor cooking. Our school literally floats, since we carry a raft (a very large one) for support with all the necessary implements for learning and enjoyment. These exploratory adventure lessons combine the art of descending whitewater rapids with that of enjoying and taking advantage of the geography and nature that surrounds us.
