Ecuador is a small country recognized as birding destination in South America, offering the perfect opportunity to meet and photograph countless unique birds, besides, enjoying its natural richness to the fullest.

This is a photograph experience where we go in search of birds, the most curious birds in unique ecosystems of the equatorial Andean foothills. We will visit places known as «Prime international birding hot spots», you will have the chance to support authentic conservation projects by visiting them which help preserve the remaining neotropical forest, and also improve the lives of the people who have chosen to protect the environment of birds necessary for their very existence stead of others such as the felling and sale of wood.

Alejandro Valenzuela

My name is Alejandro Valenzuela, with more than 20 years of experience working in conservation as well as in tourism, I'm passionate about both. Showcasing the best of Ecuador's and it's natural beauty, became the way to encourage conservation of endangered species and their native habitats.

Birds and conservation go hand in hand - I support them by visiting authentic conservation projects. We do so to help preserve the remaining neotropical forest, and to improve the lives of the people who have chosen to protect the fantastic birds, that call it home, to motivate bird conservation activities over others like mining.
