Bird Photography

per person

Ecuador is a small country recognized as one of the best bird watching destinations in South America due to its huge bird life diversity. This offers the perfect opportunity to photograph countless unique species of birds and enjoy its rich natural beauty.

This is a photographic experience where you can search for birds in unique ecosystems of the equatorial Andes and their foothills. We will visit places known as «prime international birding hot spots» due to the incredible number of specimens. You will also be able to support authentic conservation projects by visiting their sites and help with their efforts to preserve the remaining neo-tropical forest that surrounds them, and improve the lives of the people dedicated to saving these natural jewels, their habitat and their own subsistence.

Alejandro Valenzuela

My name is Alejandro Valenzuela, with more than 20 years of experience working in conservation as well as in tourism, I'm passionate about both. Showcasing the best of Ecuador's and it's natural beauty, became the way to encourage conservation of endangered species and their native habitats.

Birds and conservation go hand in hand - I support them by visiting authentic conservation projects. We do so to help preserve the remaining neotropical forest, and to improve the lives of the people who have chosen to protect the fantastic birds, that call it home, to motivate bird conservation activities over others like mining.
